My grandmother is a highly religious person, spending the afternoons hearing the mass and saying the rosary before going to sleep. Much of the luck in the things I do, I sometimes attribute to her prayers and wisdom. I still can recall how she gives me the money and ran off to the nearest store to buy candles and when there's none, she went out for about two hours to buy two pieces of altar candles – how she got my Mom worried. I don't want to experience that same feeling again so I make it a point to buy wholesale candles. Know what, the stock of candles come in handy when a the electricity goes out or a fuse needs replacing. I can really say that our olds have so much wisdom – which our generation needs.
